Change management with CONPaaS – National Olympic Committees

THE CHALLENGE

The CONPaaS project was launched to democratise access to digital services for National Olympic Committees, regardless of their size or technical, financial and human resources. Developed with the Spanish Olympic Committee, the challenge was to facilitate the implementation of a shared IT platform comprising different services and features designed to improve the internal management of Olympic organisations. It was also necessary to support a complex change process involving National Olympic Committees from different countries, with different working rhythms and levels of digitalisation. The aim was to ensure clear communication, close follow-up and gradual adoption of the platform, enabling teams to learn as they began using it in their day-to-day work.

THE SOLUTION

Itik Consultoria worked with the Spanish Olympic Committee to provide guidance, advice and technical assistance for the internal communication and change management process associated with the CONPaaS platform. To facilitate implementation, we developed internal operating protocols, maintained ongoing communication with the National Olympic Committees and conducted initial interviews to understand their needs and contexts. We also created tracking files, provided technical support to answer questions and coordinated contact with the COE’s IT department. Throughout the process, we supported online training, channelled issues through various digital tools and identified improvements to be implemented on the platform. This support enabled change management to progress through practice, adapting the process through continuous feedback and strengthening the internal capacity of the participating teams.
