Creating a new sports club in Mallorca has required a strategic planning process based on technical, qualitative and feasibility criteria. The challenge has been to define a business model capable of responding to opportunities in the sports sector, local demand and the expectations of a private project aiming to become an innovative, sustainable and distinctive sports facility. It has also been necessary to guide decision-making before construction, identifying market needs, the most appropriate positioning and the alignment between the architectural design, the user experience, environmental sustainability and the club’s future viability.
At Itik Consultoria, we have provided strategic and operational advice to a group of European investors to define the business model for the new sports club in Mallorca. To develop the project, we analysed the surrounding area, competition, potential demand and opportunities linked to the sports sector, sports tourism, leisure and health. We also prepared an economic and financial feasibility study covering different scenarios, validated the business model and provided technical support to the architectural team to ensure consistency between the club concept, the planned spaces and future services. This support has helped guide the creation of a facility based on innovation, digitalisation, sustainability and service quality.
